White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails is partnering with the
Consulate General of Switzerland in Atlanta to honor
Fête des Vignerons, a centuries-old Swiss wine celebration that only occurs five times a century. The festival is happening this summer in the mountains of Switzerland, but we're bringing the excitement to Atlanta with A Weekend of Swiss Wine. White Oak spotlights Swiss culture with art, wine, food, and live music by hosting a reception on Thursday, July 25 and a dinner with wine pairings on Saturday, July 27. Swiss Chef Lukas Kaufmann is traveling to the United States for a culinary collaboration with Timothy Magee, Executive Chef of
White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails. At the Swiss-themed reception, guests can sip their wine while soaking in some of the best sights and sounds of Swiss culture.
Lucrezia Bieler will be doing a live demonstration of
Découpage, the Swiss art of cutting paper into intricate, lace-like patterns. Pieces of this delicate art form will be available for purchase at during the event. Grammy Award-winning saxophonist
Linus Wyrsch will be traveling to Atlanta to perform for reception attendees. Tickets for the all-inclusive reception are $35 and include passed appetizers and Swiss wines from the White Oak Barrel Bar. The five-course dinner features authentic Swiss creations paired with hand-selected wines that have been shipped in specifically for this event. Lukas Kaufmann will be there to educate the guests on the Swiss tradition present in the food, and some of our favorite wine aficionados will tell guests why each wine fits so well with its respective dish. The dinner is all-inclusive and costs $150. We hope you join us in celebrating a party 20 years in the making. Tickets for the reception are available
here, and tickets for the dinner are available
