Elegance and Personal Craft Shine at Our James Beard Preview Dinner
On Tuesday, May 28, Georgia Grown-designated chefs (including several alums of White Oak Kitchen) from throughout Atlanta and Georgia showcased their skills at White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails in preparation for serving the distinguished James Beard Foundation in New York City. Our kitchen was a bit more packed than normal with our executive chef Tim Magee directing traffic, as each chef was working away to show guests their best and favorite creations. We love playing a part in showcasing Georgia's food and drink offerings to one of the most prestigious culinary arts organizations in America. From the Coca Cola bottle toast to the gorgeous view of Atlanta from our Lookout Room, the taste of Georgia was prominent throughout the event, and according to Atlanta Journal Constitution, they represented our state well.
